About Haddenham Pre-School
Haddenham Pre-School opened in the early 1970's but before that was the village playgroup.
We can take 24 children per session between the ages of 2 1/2 years and 4.
Children who are going to school the following September can attend 5 sessions a week.
We aim to provide children with a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment, in which they can develop and thrive emotionally, socially, physically and educationally. Our pre-school has a large outdoor play area with child safe surface and fixed playground equipment. Our paved area at the back has a play house, allotment, sand table, mud kitchen, and of course our resident Guinea Pigs, Lulu and Ernie, who are much loved by the children! Inside we have everything from our well stocked book corner with carpet and bean bags, to our play kitchen, shop, building blocks and even Peppa Pig toys! We actively encourage the children in the activities they enjoy, whether that be dressing up, baking, painting or play dough. Every half-term has a theme, which we base our activities and learning around. Notes are sent home to parents regularly to let them know what we will be focusing on that half-term.
For anyone interested in enrolling their child into our pre-school, we run regular open days, but are always delighted to show prospective families around our setting at anytime. Please use the contact us section and get in touch, we would love to hear from you!

The committee hold regular meetings throughout the year in order to manage fundraising projects and maintenance/upkeep of the pre-school. Any parents or carers that would like to come along and consider joining our friendly committee are more than welcome!
